Austin Young '19 Recruiting Profile

I am returning from a religious mission in October (2021).  I share my interest in furthering my basketball skills because I still have so much I can give to a program.  I have worked hard to get my skills to this level and have so much more I can achieve.  I do have some catching up to do.  For two years I have been self-sufficient, hard working, and dedicated to a program I strongly believe in.  However, I have not had all the time I wished I could have to keep up on basketball.  That is not a deterrent.  It is a challenge I look forward too.  Just so you know, my body has finished its growing and I am physically and mentally stronger then my senior year of high school.  Now I am 6'5" and 210 lbs.  I am ready to get back into my passion for the game of basketball and furthering my education.   I still have my entire collegiate athletic eligibility, a love for improving and a drive to succeed.  I would very much like to speak with you about how I can help your program succeed.  I am willing to make tryouts, camps or practices to see how I can contribute.
