Benedict Loh '22 Recruiting Profile

    My end goal, like many other players, is to be able to play basketball at the collegiate level. It's quite obvious that I lack size when compared to other players but I make up for this through my in game attitude and decision making. I'm willing to sacrifice my body on the court whether it means taking a charge or diving for the ball to give my team an opportunity to score. You can always hear me communicating with my teammates on both sides of the court and on the bench. I love to support, encourage, and push my teammates at practice, and in games. You can see this through me pushing a teammate to get a few more reps in or telling them to keep their head up after a bad decision. It's extremely common for a teammate to receive praise from me through a compliment or a high five after they get a stop, make a shot, make a good decision, get the ball back, or take a charge. I'm the guy who runs across the court to help a teammate up after he sacrifices his body for the team.  I have always been able to keep my composure in high pressure situations. It's rare for me to freeze up during intense sequences or close games. I'd say that I'm a very intresting player. For what I lack in size I make up with my attitude, reliability and leadership.
