Parker Christensen '17 Recruiting Profile

Hey coach!

I just finished my sophomore season at Maple Mountain High School where I was part of the varsity team.   I am an EXCELLENT STUDENT  (3.5 GPA). We had an excellent season and made it to the second round of the state tournament.  You can SEE HIGHLIGHTS IN LINK BELOW.

I love the game of basketball. I work hard on my game.  Here is what Kevin Nixon (my skills trainer) had to say about me.  

"Parker is a relentless worker on the basketball court. He has spent hour upon hour in the gym honing his game and skills. Besides being a DEADLY SHOOTER, CRAFTY PASSER and possessing incredible court awareness, Parker is one of the most coach-able kids I have ever worked with! He is the type of player that you must have on your team to win." 

This is what my high school coach has to say: 

"Parker Christensen is a great player.  As his coach, he has always worked hard for me in games and in practice.  He has a STRONG DESIRE to improve. Parker is willing to take feedback and work on things he needs to improve.  Parker is a GREAT TEAM PLAYER, he makes the game easier for his teammates and does whatever I asked of him on the court.  Parker played point guard and shooting guard for our team and was able to understand both positions very well.

Parker is an EXCELLENT SHOOTER, he led our team in free throw percentage (89%) and has EXCELLENT 3 point range.  He also has a EXCELLENT mid-range shot and floater in the key.  Parker is a great ball handler and has great foot work and balance.  Parker is VERY QUICK and knows how to use the dribble and hesitations to get into the middle to create shots or set up his teammates.  On defense, Parker is able to use his QUICKNESS to stay in front of his man and be a great help side defender.

Parker is working on his overall strength, becoming a lock down defender, and increasing his range on his shot.  These areas will help him become a TOP GUARD."
