Sam Sweeney '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Sweeney and I'm 100% determined to play basketball on a competitive level.   My personal and professional goals are still in development, however I know for certain I'm searching for a college that will allow my basketball career to stay with me for life.  My passion for ball has encouraged me to be an excellent student, a motivated athlete and an inspiration to my community and teammates. I understand the importance of unity both on and off the court and I strive to make not only myself better, but those around me greater.  Being realistic about my capabilities gives me the ability to utilize my strengths while focusing on areas that need improvement.  This personal understanding sets me apart from my peers and is the single most important skill I've ever learned.  My family's encouragement gives me an unstoppable momentum to continue learning and my goal for the next four years is to find a school that matches my momentum to my passion and lets me play.
