Welcome
My name is Tony Sincere Lowe. My Grandmother tells me that "I am, plus my circumstances". A quote she picked up from philosopher Jose Ortega. She explains this is what makes me who I am as a person in character and attitude.
I am a 16 years old Junior in H.S. My family told me from very early on, when I was 3 years old I showed an interest in sports, mainly basketball. As I was growing up, thinking back I always loved playing basketball. They tell me from the time my Mom placed a small orange ball in my hand, I never let go of it.
As I grew older she thought I would lose interest, desire in basketball but that never happened. My parents decided to let me try football and baseball which was fun, but I seemed to find my way back on the basketball courts time after time. I have a passion for the game and will play alone or with friends which is why I enjoy it. I love it so much, my Grandmother laughs when she sees me play full courts by myself. I remember the 1st time my Grandmother took me to a NETS game at the Barclay Center. It was awesome! Afterwards we went to the NBA store and she brought me a Kyrie Irving Jersey. We had a ball! I What can I say everything basketball, playing the game is a big part of who I am.
I would describe myself as a normal youth. I am well mannered and respectful. Outside of basketball I like playing video games and watching videos of previous basketball players and the games they've played in. I also enjoy being around my family and friends just having fun.
My collegiate goals and aspirations is to attend College so I can learn about myself and open up my academic experiences. My Grandmother tells me College is the safe space between leaving the nest and venturing out into the world. I have some ideas about what I want to study. Hopefully, college will help me figure out what I want to do outside of basketball. That's what going to college is all about. No matter what I know College will be a great experience.
