Ian Suboc '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to get in to a great academic school with great basketball program. My passion for basketball started at a young age. I want to compete to the next level. I believe that having to start with the right school will help me to have a great opportunity in the future. Education is a big part of success no matter what field of study.

I’m a quick learner, detail oriented, and eager to learn. I have great academic GPA and I was awarded in my Math class. I’m willing and committed to do the work. I’m very coach-able, a great team player, and study hard. 

As a player, I want to involve my teammates. Sharing the ball and ball movement is the key to success in basketball. Basketball is a team sport, not an “I” sport. I believe If everyone do their part, the team will succeed.

As a student, I take notes and listen very well to my professors. I take their advice and asked questions if something is not clear. I do my homework ahead of time before I go home for the day.  I don’t like to procrastinate! 

I want to be great on what I do and will not settle for less. I believe being great is done through hard work, dedication, persistence, and commitment.
