Malcom Schiltz '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’5” forward from Washington State. I started for my varsity team last year and we placed 6^th in state for 1A schools. I have a 3.2 GPA and I got a 31 on the ACT. I’m a versatile wing with a high court IQ, can defend 5 positions, rebound, and score from the post or from 3.

I’m looking at a liberal arts school preferably close to the city but am open to going anywhere that will give me the chance to play. I value having a good coach because my whole life I’ve learned from the mentors that have made me the player I am today. I want a coach that’s going to be able to bring my basketball skills to another level. I am interested in economics, political science, statistical analysis, and coach management. 

I know I have not yet reached my full potential and that I will dedicate myself to improving my game every day. I’ve recently gained 15 pounds of muscle and pride myself on being the hardest worker in the room. My AAU and high school coach both called me an unselfish player that works extremely hard. I’m the kind of player that leads by example, trains harder than anyone, and always respects my coach. I bring an unconditional commitment to the team and will put winning games over any personal achievement.
