My goal has always been to play basketball at the collegiate level. My dad played college football and always pushed me to pursue sports while keeping my grades high. He is and always has been my mentor. I am a point guard that loves getting my teammates good shots. I have a good court awareness and court vision to see the whole floor. I have a good three point shot and finish well at the rim. I pride myself on limiting my turnovers and not losing my handle. My dad always told me to be the best teammate I can be, make the extra pass, and to not focus on personal averages. There were some long conversations after frustrating games that taught me how to be a great teammate. It has really been the foundation of how I play. I try to impact my team in the way I play, the way I hustle and the way I communicate. I am a positive person that keeps a team together. Being a captain for my team has showed me how important it is to have a team, not a bunch of individuals. If you can't trust each other on the court, it's hard to win games. I believe that I can go to any team and impact them by the way I hold myself on and off the court.
