Jacob Patrick '16 Recruiting Profile

I love playing basketball. Every time I step into the gym, I aspire to get better. I accept criticism, and use it to get myself better. I consider myself an all-around player. I have some skills in every area, but this leaves me with plenty of room for development. I have played center/power forward for the past 5 years, so I have roots at the post. Some of my weaknesses would be my emotion in game. I become frustrated in myself, but I am making a strong effort in fixing that aspect of the game. Is the classroom, I work hard and I am not afraid to push myself. My interests are in science, namely biology. Anything involving science interests me, such as physics or psychology. However, I love helping people and I am currently the sports trainer for my team. That responsibility has me taping and icing ankles, checking for concussions, and making sure my players take good care of any injuries they may have gotten while playing. Off of the court, I can be a leader when need be, and I am a social person.
