Isaac Appleby '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isaac Appleby, and I am a junior at Memorial High School in Eau Claire, WI. I am a team-first player and can help the team in many ways.  I have great vision and passing ability even under pressure.  My ball handling is very good, and I can also shoot from the outside.  One of my go-to moves is the pull-up mid-range jumper which I have found very effective. I'm continuing to work on my inside and driving game as well.  I am quick and have an above-average vertical. I have a great work ethic and value playing defense. 

  I am an effective leader on and off the court and respect my teammates and coaches greatly.  I am working to become stronger and improve my game.  As a freshman, I started point guard on JV and led the team in points, assists, and steals.  I also received varsity experience towards the end of the year.  As a sophomore I was starting point guard on varsity and led the team in steals and assists.  I played a major role and was all-conference honorable mention. 

      I would like to attend a school with high academic standards that would allow me to study and become what I want to be outside of school.  I realize that college basketball will last four years, but what I do in those four years outside of basketball will affect and shape the rest of my life.  Academics are just as important to me as athletics when it comes to making my college decision.
