Adam Guyette '25 Recruiting Profile

I began playing basketball when I was 8 years old. Over the years, my desire to compete at the college level grew, but I was torn between basketball and baseball. During my sophomore season, I had the opportunity to play at the Varsity level, in doing so I noticed that my love for basketball took over. Today, I have found myself pursuing my dream to play basketball at the next level.

On the court, I am a player who loves to win. I am a leader who leads by example and is constantly trying to improve myself in all aspects of the game. One of my coaches told me early on to "Work while I wait." I have taken this to heart and have put extra time into watching film, lifting in the weight room, shooting sessions, and workouts. I have become a strong shooter, but driving to the rim is my strongest attribute. My high basketball IQ allows me to understand the implementation of plays and drills making my teammates and myself better each day.  

Being a multi-sport athlete, I have learned so much through various coaches and coaching styles. I have been a member of the cross country team and baseball team in high school. Each has taught me how to be a better athlete and person through hard work and dedication.

I am a dedicated student who values my education.  I have been on the High Honor Roll every semester of my high school career, and I have been inducted into the National Honor Society. I have also achieved Basketball Academic All-State for my sophomore and junior years.

I look forward to attending a college where I can compete on the basketball court and achieve my desired academics.
