Training

  • (PGC) Point Guard College Camps
  • 2 years
  • I have attended two separate camps through PGC. One was a Speed and Explosion Camp and the other was Post Scoring Camp. Both of these camps were very educational. PGC has helped teach me to be a leader on and off the court.
  • Ryan Borowicz
  • 8 years
  • While continuing my training with Brian Butch I started working with another trainer in the area named Ryan Borowicz. At the time I started with Ryan his clientel was small and he was trying something new with shooting techniques. I learned a lot from Ryan. Most Importantly, not to be a selfish ball player. I still currently train with Ryan Borowicz at his facility. The past two years at the Borowicz facility I have started working one on one with college basketball players that return home for the summer. This experience has pushed me harder than I thought. The college players really get to know me and my strengths and weaknesses and how to push me to be better. I hope to have this opportunity wheni return home from college for the summer.
  • Breakthrough Basketball Camps
  • 3 years
  • Various Camps Across the Country
  • John Lucas Camp
  • 1 year
  • This camp was an eye opener. It was about basketball, but also what happens when who screw your life up. John was drafted into the NBA 1976 by the Houston Rockets, played 14 years but then his life got pretty messed up. John gave us a lot of life lessons.
  • Brian Butch Camps
  • 4 years
  • I started with the Brian Butch Camps when I was in the second grade. At first it was just an introductory ball handling and shooting camp but it grew into more as I fell in love with the game. I then transitoned to Ryan Borowicz Camps.
  • Steven Baker
  • 4 years
  • I recently started working with Steven Baker both one on one and in small groups. With him I work on my Attacking and finishing at the rim. Steven has also shown me that I can play against bigger players. As an eight grader he had me playing against juniors and senoirs. A nice thing about the area I live in is I have access to great instructors locally. I was fortunate that my parents gave me the opportunity to get to know and work with all of them. Each instructor has taught me something different. I hope that I am able to the take the most important parts of what I have learned and can someday show you how I can be one of the most versatile players on the court.
  • Jason Otter
  • 1 year
  • This was strictly a ball handling camp. It was a good to get a different perspective from another person on something all the other camps had already gone over with me.
  • Hoops Group
  • 1 year
  • I attened the Hoop Group Skills Camp approximately two years ago. It was a good experience for me to see how my skills compared to kids from the East Coast. The camp lasted approximately three days back then. At then end of the camp I was given a written evaluation of my skills by the coaches. They Also sat down one on one with each of us so we had a clear understanding of our strenghts and weaknesses. In the end I was also voted camp MVP and had my picture on their Facebook page for a while.
  • Hooplife
  • 1 year
  • HoopLife is a newer basketball training facility in my area. The owner Drew went to St. Norbert (DIII) College in our area. This facility gives me the ability to train with local college kids as if I were in college now. We work on all aspects of the game at the collegiate level.

Additional Sports

  • Football
  • 5 years
  • Club/Travel Team
  • I played football as a second sport from third grade until eight grade.
  • Track
  • 3 years
  • Varsity Team
  • Freshman year was my first experience with the sport of track. I ran the 400 and 800 individual, and i was also a member of the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relay teams. Both of which we broke the previous freshman records for our school in those relays.
