Dontrell Graise '22 Recruiting Profile

What makes me a good candidate for any team is, I am a student of life in every aspect. Throughout my journey thus far Ive been faced with so many obstacle and adversity ;through it all I've learned so much about myself and the process which has made me stronger and more resilient than most. My support system is not one of the" do as I say, not as I do" era  but more so lead by example. My dad is an extremely hard worker and when I look at all that he has accomplished based on his work ethic ,consistency, and belief in the process in motivates me daily. As an Athlete I set myself apart from the rest based on how I approach the game. My hunger drives me and I dream big with my game plan to mirrors it. Academically its been instilled in me that there has to be equilibrium to my life and the process. Understanding without academics there is no basketball so I work just as hard in there classroom as I do on the court. A little about myself is am outgoing and I always am looking for the good in life. In my spare time I love to be with my family. Every Friday or Saturday night we have movie night in which no one is allowed to be on their electronics which is awesome bonding time and every other Sunday we usually have "Sunday Funday" which is filled with friends , family , food and games. During family meeting we usually use that time to communicate and better the dynamics within our home, which is awesome. My day is huge on strong communication skills. My household is very competitive whether we are playing Fornite, Nbalive ,NBA2k or Chess. Especially during "king of the hill" with my two other brothers and sister who are all basketball players. 

Im looking forward to a program that admire not only my talents but me as a person. I would love to experience a program with a coach is just as passionate basketball and the evolving process. Id like to accomplish so many accolades throughout my college academic/basketball experience; I know it will be extremely challenging but that is when Ive made my most gain as a person and basketball player.
