Lucas Neuens '27 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to continue to grow in my academics and athletics. I desire to play Football at the Division 1 level, and be competitive at that level. The things that make me a good candidate are my strong work ethic, the focus I put into my studies and developing my athletic skills as well as learning to get the most out of my body. I am a team player as demonstrated by the fact that I want the team to win as much as I want to succeed.  I develop relationships and I care about my teammates. I am an outstanding Wide Receiver and Strong Safety, on the offensive side of the ball I am able to catch anything, in traffic, and jump balls. When I catch the ball in open space I am able to turn it up field and get yards after the catch, I also get physical I will lower my shoulder into the defenders. On the defensive side at safety I am very well at getting downhill and making open field tackles, as on offense I will get physical and lay people out. I also am very well over the top making plays on the ball and reading the quaterback. I am a very athletic and smart player who can get the job done on and off the field.
