Jaylen Mahone '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I could walk. Ever since I started playing, I’ve dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I have strong ball handling skills, the ability to shoot the 3, and a high IQ for the game. I think a skill that separates me from other players is my pull up jump shot which has expanded my game. As a team captain, I try to lead the team as best as I can while also encouraging my teammates. I’m very coachable and I strive to be the hardest worker for every team I play for.

Off the court, I study hard in the classroom and keep a high GPA. I also volunteer at my team’s youth basketball camps and ref their league games as well.

I want to attend a college where I can really excel in the classroom and push myself on the basketball court. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the greatest match at the highest level of competition possible.
