Jake Sherman '26 Recruiting Profile

I’m Jake Sherman. I grew up in downtown Milwaukee and now live in Shorewood, Wisconsin. I’m a junior at Shorewood High School. Basketball has been my everything since I was a very small child. When I was a toddler, I played basketball in my apartment’s dining room. Some of my earliest memories are dribbling my basketball on every sidewalk in the city, shooting around in the dark Wisconsin winter, and fearlessly joining playground pick-up games with grown men that were three times my size. 

Basketball has been with me through it all. Along my journey, the constant support of my family and my faith in Jesus Christ has given me the strength to press on in the face of adversity, work out with an unwavering commitment, train in my basement and alley and attack recovery when I’ve been injured. I am disciplined, committed and passionate about the sport. I’m looking forward to playing college basketball and leading in my life on and off the court.
