Demetrius Davenport '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. Ever since I understood the game, I have wanted to play at the college level. I can handle the ball very well, have a good basketball IQ, and I am a good scorer as well as a team player. I am a team leader and I like to encourage my teammates. I am a very coachable player and am willing to learn and work hard.

Off the court, I lift weights and do other workouts to maintain my health and to make me a better basketball player. I volunteer in my community, and I am currently a member of the Rock Springs High School Health Academy.

I want to attend college, not only for basketball, but also to get a good education. I am very open right now to all colleges. Specifically, I would like to attend a school where there is good balance of competition, education & where I am surrounded by good people.
