Personal Statement
My name is Josh Legge from Powell River B.C, i am 6 foot 2 and 195 pounds with a +3 handicap, training to become faster and stronger every day. I am a very hard working, determined person that is willing to earn everything. I have been a captain on my team so i know how to become a leader. I have always wanted to play on a college golf team, it is exciting and i love to compete against the best. I have competed in many important golf tournaments such as B.C Jeuvenile championships last summer where i finished 12th out of 160 players as i shot 73-74-84 in three rounds. Also competed in school provincial tournaments and was 12th individually out of over 150 players shooting 75-75 on the two days as well as many zone and regional tournaments such as the David Court Memorial where i shot 74, 71 and finished 3rd place. I am looking for scholership opportunities to also make this process easier for my family. I am open to all diffirent types of schools, i would be greatful no matter what. I want to become a better athlete and a better person, i think that an opportunity like this can make that happen. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to present myself to you.
