Hi, my name is Hayden Barr. I ‘m a Junior at Polytech High School and have been playing on the Varsity golf team since I was a freshman. I have been playing competitive golf participating in US Kids Golf Tour, Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour, UA PGA Eastern Shore Junior Tour and have been golfing the last 3 years as a Varsity Player for Polytech. My record with Polytech proved that I'm on the right track to hitting low scores. The last two years I qualified for State tournament. I was also vote 2nd Team All-Conference as a freshman and a sophomore and appreciate the opportunity that my coaches gave me. I will continue this season by continuing to play for the Under Armor PGA Tour on Shore for Eastern Shore MD. I’m currently also playing and competing in US Kids Golf and trying to qualify to play in Spring Nations at Pinehurst GC in North Carolina. I have taken the on the role to be a leader and role model for my H.S team. I'm competitive in the game and want to win however, I do enjoy the sportsmanship the game brings thus meeting many players and making new friends. I intend to keep getting better in the game and prove that I have what it takes to be able to handle the pressure and stress that the game brings. This year I qualified for Nations that was played in West Palm Beach Florida and competed with top golfers around the Country. I also qualified for the first World Championships held in Orlando Florida which I was able to gain a new level of experience.
I would make a good candidate for a collage team because of the experience and dedication to the game I can bring to the team. I have been playing golf since I was 6 years old, and my goal is to make it to the PGA. As of right now my interest consist of n welding and fabrication. I’m interested in a Golf Management program, or anything tied to the discipline is an interest of mine for the future as well. I want to be a well-rounded individual that can have options for success.
On the Academics side of things, I'm still learning how to manage and study to meet my requirements. My grades are average however I continue to work very hard to improve. My goal is to have a 3.0 or higher by the middle of of 11th grade year.
Thanks, you for taking the time to review my future Goals.
Sincerely
Hayden Barr
