Gavin Karlin '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Gavin and I am a junior at IMG Academy. I am committed to always getting better and doing better, both on and off the course. I love the game of golf and continue to learn from whatever I do in a day, even if it doesn’t give me the exact results I was expecting. Learning from success and failure is how you grow as a person. In late 2023, I was involved in an accident which resulted in a fractured left scapula. Despite that setback, I have been working diligently with my coaches and strength and conditioning team to regain and improve my swing, as well as getting back into a highly competitive environment. It is a personal goal of mine to play golf at the collegiate level and I look forward to reaching that pinnacle. I also take pride in my academics and value my friendships and, because I go about my day with respect and support for others, I believe I am considered a good friend, teammate and classmate.  Thank you for visiting my profile.
