Henry Kuehne '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Henry Kuehne. I am 17 years old and from Palm Beach, Florida. I started seriously playing competitive golf a little over two years ago and fell in love with the sport. I come from a golfing family; my dad played on the PGA Tour, and my aunt and uncle had stellar golf careers. I am an extremely hard worker and pride myself on my dedication to becoming the best golfer I can be. I am fortunate to have a world-class supporting cast of coaches and mentors guiding me through every aspect of the game. Recently, because my primary focus is on my golf game and preparing to be well-prepared for college, I have also added online learning. 

At one time, I read a quote by William Arthur Ward that I have never forgotten, "Adversity causes some men to break; others to break records." Throughout my life, I have dealt with adversity in various forms, like most of us. However, when I passionately leaned into competitive golf, the sport became a mirror for applying what I learned on the golf course in all aspects of my life. The magic in golf happens to me in realizing that it's all about staying present, never taking shortcuts, learning from my mistakes and others, and never giving up.
