My greatest goal is to play collegiate golf at an academically strong school that values integrity and hard work. I've been an athlete for as long as I can remember. Although I only fully committed to golf in the last three years I've played multiple sports through my childhood and middle school including baseball, basketball, and football. However, in high school, in order to excel, I had to pick one sport to commit my time to as I am also committed to academic success.
The truth is I enjoy winning. Golf provides plenty of opportunities for me to not only compete against others but it gives me the ability to play individually and as part of a team. What makes me a great candidate is my commitment to mentoring and guiding others. As a matter of fact, some of the players on our school team call me coach. In addition, I'm very coachable.
In college, although playing golf is important, I want to find a place to call home for four years so the fit has to be right. Although I'm unsure of what my major will be I want to be challenged both on and off the course. I'm looking forward to this next chapter.
