Personal Statement

I want to get a degree in Psychology and I want to compete at a college level playing golf. I am very competitive and I want to win at everything I do. I will work hard in school and on my game to accomplish my life aspirations. I am a very long off the tee and I have a very good touch around the greens. Also my putting is getting better , the previous years I was nervous on the greens but now I am very confident and I make more putts. I shot under par for the first time in tournament on 9/26/16 at TPC Prestancia for PREMIER JUNIOR GOLF TOUR, also as a freshman I advanced from Districts and Regionals and made it to State Championships where I placed top 20. My game elevates when I play in a team, I helped my PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE TEAM win the STATE FINALS when I was 12 years old and I really liked playing for my High School team.

I had to win the tournament to get the points needed for Player of the year award for PREMIER JUNIOR GOLF TOUR, I was three shots back starting the second round and shot 75 to win by one.

MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP AT USF

The Claw at USF was a very tough test of golf , I played really good especially the second day.The hardest thing to overcome was the bad condition of the greens and the fairways, my ball striking was really good on Sunday I hit 14 greens in regulation , my putting distance control also really good but the ball would not stay on line resulting to only one birdie. Overall I am very happy that I won the tournament shooting 79- 75.

I shot a 79 the first day on a very windy and difficult day, next day I made more putts and shot a 73 .I won the tournament by 4 shots , it was the first of the year.

I was tied for ninth with a 76 the first day, and I shot a 83 the second day with a couple of unfortunate breaks on a very windy and difficult golf course, overall I am happy finishing top 20 my 1st year at this event.

A rough start making double bogey on the first and fourth holes and the front nine at plus four but went on to play the next 27 holes at 3 under and won the tournament. I shot 75 and 70

High School Regionals at Mangrove Bay Golf Club
I had to post a good score to have a chance to advance to the State Finals that rainy and windy day, despite making a double bogey on the 15th hole and a bogey on 16th I came back with a birdie on the 17th hole to shoot a 75 which was the lowest individual score, and got my spot at State Finals.
