Personal Statement

My goal is to play golf at the highest level I am able to achieve. My family relocated from New Jersey to Georgia while I was middle school. I began playing golf at the age of 13 after a season ending lacrosse injury. I quickly came to realize that I was more passionate about golf than another sport i have ever played. I made the decision to devote myself to learning this great sport. It is through dedication and hard work that I have been able bring my game to a highly competitive level and can't wait to see how much further I can take it.

I compete on the Blessed Trinity varsity golf team (AAA 2015 golf state champions), as well as in SJGT, HJGT, and AJGA tournaments. I strive for excellence in both athletics and academics. I work diligently every day to bring my golf game to the next level. I plan to play regional and national tournaments throughout my remaining high school years.

I shot 78 in the first round. The second round was cancelled because of Hurricane Nate. I had a triple and a double in my round. All around I hit the ball very well, but just had two bad holes. I cam in T17 out of 56.

Scores: 78-78. Hit the ball great both days. Hit a total of 21 out of 36 greens including 13 on the first day. I was even thru 9 on the first day and had a rough time getting a feel with my short game again. The second round was a lot better all around and my short game was a lot better. I made a great birdie down the stretch and finished strong. Came in T15 out of 33.

Scores: 76-80. 14 pars and 4 bogeys first round. Second round was not my best and I could not generate a feel with my short game. I had 2 birdies the second round, but also had two doubles. T4 out 10.
