I've always been very competitive. Golf was an outlet where I could express my passion for winning and playing my best. When I first started competitive golf, it was a struggle because the feeling of pressure was unlike any other sport I have ever played. After all, golf is a sport where the player must rely on themselves, and must take accountability for their mistakes. Along with the fact that golf is also a game in which you must be very consistent and handle one's temper and not focus on the past and be committed to the next shot. This experience so far has taught me to practice and show resilience in a time of struggle throughout my playing. If it weren't for competitive golf, I would not have the current mindset and characteristics that I have today. Having told you this, I feel that it would be a great if I were to show you the commitment and focus I have towards golf. And my passion for playing collegiate golf as a whole has been a target of mine for since I've ever started golf. Furthermore, my future to play as a professional or work in a golf-related industry after college is my greatest motivator and has given me the drive to push beyond what constraints people have put upon me. My willingness to never stop improving would make me a great addition to any golf team, and I would take the time at college not only as a time for playing but also as a time to improve overall as a person.
