I ended up finishing 4th in the state for my age division (16-19) on the Indiana Junior Golf Tour. This is a season long cumulation of point based of finishes in tournaments. The 3 players ahead of me were able to play at minimum 2 more events than myself. The 5 events I played, I had a 1st, two 2nd, 4th and 6th place finishes. Never finishing an event out of the top ten.

Finished in 4th place with a 76. Closing was a problem today. I played the last 3 holes in 4 over and missed second by one shot. Learning experience as I continue to learn how to close the last few holes out.

Shot 73 to finish second in the 16-19 age division. Lost by 2 shots. Unfortunately, played my last 8 holes in 2 over. Had a 3 putt and missed 2 putts inside of 6 feet for birdie that cost me a chance at victory. Still, played well overall and just continue to work.

Won my first state event today. Rain, wind and didn’t start the way I wanted, but played the last 13 holes in even par and was able to win the event by 2 shots in tough conditions.

My first golfweek event and I struggled on the front nine both days. Had respectable scores on the back nine of 38, 39, but the front was not kind. My putting and chipping were not sharp.

First day was a cut to top 12 players from 3 different start times. Struggled with the tee shot and had 5 penalty shots on the day. Two doubles and a triple bogey. Missed advancing to the second round by one shot. Feel like I need to get more consistent with my tee shot to truly reach another level of play.

Shot 78 and finished second in the 16-19 year old division. I continue to hit the ball well, 15 greens in regulation and 12 of 14 fairways. Need to tighten up from inside 70 yards and eliminate the 3 putt greens.

I finished second and made the All County team. However, I was in the lead up through hole 15. Birdie on 15 to go one up. Unfortunately, I did not finish as strongly as I had hoped and ended up second. Great learning experience on how to finish with a lead.
