My golfing career started when I was three and I have wanted to play college golf for as long as I can remember. I started playing golf tournaments at the age of six through Northwest Indiana Junior Golf Association (NIJGA) and currently am playing in the Indiana Junior Golf Foundation and Golf Week Junior Tour. I will be playing AJGA Qualifiers this season as well. After being on a travel soccer team for many years and always playing multiple sports, I started my sophomore year focusing solely on golf in order to be successful at playing golf in college. I am a natural competitor and have worked extremely hard during this off season with private golf lessons and weight training every day. I understand that golf is a very mental game, and I have a good mentality and attitude when I play. I like the balance golf gives with allowing me to strive to be my best as an individual sport, but I also enjoy the team atmosphere and friendship of being part of a golf team. I am excited to pursue golf at the collegiate level.
