My name is Ryan Nowe, I've been playing the game of golf since I was a young boy and fell in love with every aspect of it. Through the years I have learned that the only way to get better at this game is to keep working at it, and that is one of my greatest qualities. I am dedicated and excited to wake up each and every morning to go practice golf. Whether it be through hours on the putting green or a solid workout after school, I will always be striving to get a little bit better each and every day.
As you can see in my statistics, I have progressively improved each year (Currently Ranked 12th in the RCGA Junior Boys Order of Merit). I am presently in the best physical condition that I've ever been in and with last years exposure to more competitive tournaments I am eagerly waiting for this season. Through leading team Nova Scotia in the Canada Games, to leading my high school golf team to a provincial championship, my confidence has escalated. I intend to enter some mens amateur tournaments in the upcoming season.
Even as captain of my division 1 high school hockey team, I lead mainly by example, both on and off the ice, and presently lead the league in both points and goals. I feel that I can bring these attributes to a college golf team and this is why I feel that I am an excellent candidate for your school where with time I would lead the team both on and off the golf course.
