My name is Morgan O’Sullivan and I would like to thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.

I have been playing golf competitively from the age of 11 years of age. Now, as a secondary school student in Ireland, it is time for me to review my options for playing golf in University. I am very interested in applying for a scholarship , year 2023.

I have attached my resume/profile for your review. For the past 4 years I have been selected for U14, U16 Irish national panels and have recently been selected for U18 Irish National Panel 2020/2021 and hope to represent my country again over the coming year in Europe. I sit my final school exams in June 2022. However, I hope to compete at National men’s tournament golf for the year prior to resuming further education.

As you see from my profile, I take my academic studies very seriously. I would like to pursue a degree in sports science or business and I am certain that my goals fit nicely with those of your university.

I am an excellent communicator with strong levels of attention to detail and accuracy. I am an enthusiastic and hardworking young man and I believe excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for any individual when achieving his/her goal. From previous experience working with individuals, I have learnt that sensitivity is paramount when assisting others.
