Personal Statement

My name is Ian Lee Chong Li, I am a 18 years old Malaysian and graduated from high school, Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar ( English College ), Johor, Malaysia. I'm now currently studying in Loyola University New Orleans. I’m writing to you to express my interest in joining your golf team in the year 2019

I started playing golf at the age of 7 and I am really passionate and love this sport ever since. Under my coaches’ proper guidance and my hard work, my game has been improving all these years. I have been representing my home state and school at the young age of 11.  I played in some tour events back in Malaysia. Currently my average score is around 73 and my WAGR Ranking is 1273.

 I'm an all rounder in my high school. Even though I miss most the classes, I still manage to maintain my examination results, 3.9 GPA. Playing good golf and ensure top position in academics is my motto to pursue my dreams.
