Personal Statement

I am attending Barton County Community College in Great Bend, Kansas. My goals are to continue my education and look to also better my game. I would then like to attend a college where I have the opportunity to earn a degree. I feel as I continue to improve my golf game, I will be able to compete at a high level in College. I am currently considering a major in business and entrepreneurship. I am looking for a golf program that can provide me with the opportunity to improve my game. A few of the key items I am looking for is a good coach, challenging course or courses, quality practice facilities and the opportunity for quality competition in tournaments. My dream is to graduate college and pursue a career as a PGA Tour member.

I will be competing in the oldest age group in the KJGA this year. Our section has some very talented golfers. Our four tournaments are in June.

Sectional tournaments - finished 6th in the points standing for the 16 and over age group and was the 2nd alternate for the State competition

At the league tournament I had one of those days where everything was off just a bit and I couldn't make a putt. I battled through a tough day with a loss of a family member the day before. I shot an 80 and was tied for 9th and was All League 2nd team.
