I believe that I would be a great fit for any college golf team because I consider myself a true team player. I aspire to improve my game constantly and I try to inspire my teammates to want to do better for themselves and our team. I believe what separates me from other potential recruits is my work ethic. I am always working to improve my game in all aspects and I won’t stop until I achieve success. I have played on the Varsity golf team since freshman year . Since then, I have improved my handicap by about 8 strokes, from a 15 to a 7, just through practice on my own and with different coaches along the way. As a player who lives in the northeast, the winter months are a challenge to play golf. However, this winter I have been practicing at an indoor golf facility that has heated bays to work on all shots. For fun, I even created my own "18 hole" course in my basement to work on my putting. In addition, I have been playing hockey since the age of 6 and am a member of the Varsity hockey team at Marshfield High School.
