Jack Oreal '27 Recruiting Profile

I am extremely driven, disciplined, and always eager to learn and improve.  I enjoy working hard in the classroom, on the golf course, and in the gym.  I am a 3-sport athlete and currently enrolled in all Honors Classes at Newburyport High School.  I finished my first high school semester with straight As and a 4.76 GPA.  

I started swinging a golf club at 3-years old and have been competing in tournament golf since the age of 7.  Over the past three seasons I've seen my handicap go from a 12, to a 7, and a 2.9 at the end of 2023. I finished the 2023 season ranked #3 out of 278 golfers on the New England Junior PGA Tour. I competed in 16 events, won 3 times, had 8 top-3 finishes, and I shot 78 or better in 5 straight events.  I finished my first Varsity golf season with the best scoring average (38.6) in recent team history.  I shot 78 at the Cape Ann League Championship and 77 at the Massachusetts State Championship Qualifier (5th best score out of 78).  I finished First Team All Conference, and I was awarded the Newburyport High School MVP award.  

My goal is to find the right College or University where I can thrive as a student athlete.  I am excited about the future opportunity to make a positive impact in a collegiate community and golf team.  I know my best days in the classroom and on the golf course are in front of me.
