Ty Cooper '22 Recruiting Profile

My passion is sports, played sports ever since I could sign up. I play Golf and Basketball. I have been playing golf with my family since I was 3 years of age. I am self motivated, I want it and put in the long hours even if it is in 100 degree weather rain or shine and if I need to play two rounds of golf to achieve the level I want to be achieve one day to make it to the PGA Tour. I follow the Korn Ferry Tour as well. We help house those players when they are in our area to help them, so they can save money vs paying for a hotel.

I keep a good attitude, course mind set even on my bad rounds. I am a team player and encourage our team to keep our heads up and keep pushing to the end. I don't throw clubs or curse like I see other players along the tournaments I have attended. That is one thing my parents taught me was to respect others and have a good golf ethics.

Class of 2022 I was also ranked 132nd in the State of Missouri Basketball through Prep Hoops.

The mentors I follow are Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson. I also follow the Korn Ferry Tour, when they are in our area, we help house them to cut down on their boarding expenses. I enjoy picking their brain as well.

I keep my grades up, I am a A+ student and very excited about my next new chapter in life.
