The true trait of a champion is not just hard work and dedication, but perseverance. Perseverance which allows you to enjoy the journey and recognize the improvements you make throughout. I have always been someone dedicated to the journey, letting my failures turn into incremental improvements every year. During my 7th grade summer, my goal was to make the 2018 U.S. Kids Golf World Championships by winning the North Jersey Tour. After a season of tough competitions, I lost by 2.5 points. I recommitted myself, working diligently in the offseason to dominate the competition the following spring. I achieved my goal and reached the World Championships, placing 53rd out of a field of 140. I have continued to improve, shooting my low round of even par at Royce Brook West in the NJPGA Championship during my freshman summer, and placing in the top ten at the Hurricane JGT National Championships in December of 2019. I know my perseverance as a golfer and individual will never cease.
