I want to attend a college where my academic interests can be met.
I believe that my golfing abilities will make a difference for any team in the future years, as I am now on the verge of playing scratch golf.
I am different from other recruits because I excel academically and will be able to balance both classwork and team activities while being an active leader.
My competitive record has developed through playing in the Metropolitan PGA and the New Jersey Junior PGA. I have competed in both the MetPGA and NJPGA from June 2014 to August 2015. Each tour provided me new competition and venues, as well as appropriately preparing myself for college golf. The MetPGA offers 18-hole events, in addition to a point system similar to the PGA’s FedEx Cup. The NJPGA offers 54-hole tournaments, which are similar to collegiate tournaments. Some recent top finishes I would like to note are my 2nd place finish at the MetPGA event @ Richmond County CC and 2nd place at Staten Island Chamber of Commerce High School Invitational, plus my 3rd place finish in the Staten Island Jr. Amateur. In my sophomore year, I qualified to participate in the NY State Federation Championship played at Bethpage Black. In addition, I contributed to my high school team’s victory in the NYC Public High School Championship (PSAL) with an undefeated record. This upcoming summer I will attempt to qualify for the Staten Island Amateur, NYC Amateur, USGA Junior Amateur.
