AJGA-Polo Rank (3/4/17):  760 overall, or 349 in Class of 2017; 6th in State of Ohio

Golfweek (4/4/17): 315 overall

JGS (4/19/17): 949 overall; 457 in Class of 2017

After playing several other sports (baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and soccer), I committed to golf during my freshman year. Since then, I've made significant improvements in scoring, lowering my USGA annual handicap to a 1.5 (junior year) then to a +1.1 for national tournaments and my senior year.  Last season, I earned my second All District, First Team honors in Northeast Ohio, Division 1 (Big Schools),  a second Team MVP, and was selected as my team's captain.  Since December 2015, I've played 19 JGS nationally-ranked tournament of which 15 were ranked by Golfweek and 5 were ranked in the AJGA/Polo.  

During the spring 2016 season, I played seven tournaments with a focus on the Golfweek Junior Tour which features many of the best D1 golfers in the US Midwest, particularly from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.   Of 5 Golfweek Jr Tour events, I earned two Top 5 and one top 10 finish as well as an exemption to play in Junior World in San Diego this July.   On the tour, I finished 21st out of 709 14-19 year old golfers with a stroke average of 75.   

My 2016 summer season included seven Golfweek ranked tournaments-- four of which are Polo-ranked events (2 AJGA Tournaments, the Southern Junior, and Junior World).  Over the summer, I played in seven different states (OK, TX, OH, CA, VT, PA, and KY).  In the four events from junior tours (e.g AJGA and the PGA Jr. Series), I had 3 Top 20 finishes (with 1 Top 10) and a stroke average of 74, finishing with two tournaments that had negative tournament differentials before transitioning to my ongoing high school golf season.  Thus, I have the capacity to golf across a wide variety of conditions and courses, which would help me adapt to the challenges of a college golf schedule.  

My current all tournament-based USGA handicap is +1.1.   

Academics are a strength as I'm dedicated to my studies. I've been a student at University School, among the best prep schools in Ohio, since third grade. My coursework will include AP courses in Chemistry, Biology, Calculus AB, English, and US History. I am academically qualified for the most selective programs with a high GPA and ACT and PSAT scores in the 99th percentile.
