Matt Sider '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matt Sider. I am 6'2 weighing in at 190 pounds. I'm a pretty overall fast runner, running the 40 yard dash in 4.55 seconds. I am the type of kid who works very hard at training and keeping myself fit. My golf game will always be and always has been my favourite thing to do in my time spent. Golf in my mind is suppose to be not only fun but a hard working confidence you need in life. Once your a confident player that is when your golf game will be at the top of where you want it.  School work for me comes first though, because i do know that having good marks will lead you to bigger and better things down the path to adult hood. In my years of being a teenager and a young adult i have had many honors accomplishments in school and sporting events. My latest sporting event that really gave me a lot of confidence was an invitational golf tournament where i was forced to play against many certified CPGA professionals. The course was rated number one course in ontario and runner for the number one course in Canada. I shot a 68 to capture the tournament win with a little bit of money earnings. Over this year I have played in NIagara Junior Tour tournaments where I placed farely well in, but I do know with more practise will come excellence and more tournament wins. I'm very individually driven, and don't tend to get down on my self very easy. I believe that to achieve things you have to work hard at it and in the end you will be very successful. From what Ive always been told in life from my parents, you will never achieve goals if you dont set them for yourself. You have to know what you want in life for you to go somewhere.
