I have been swinging a golf club since the age of 4 when my dad started taking me to the driving range. I officially started playing in club tournaments at age 13, and it was then that I realized how much I loved the game.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and my parents have tried hard to place me in schools with resources where I would thrive academically. In high school, I discovered that I excelled in my studies with a complementary athletics program. In college, I hope to be fortunate enough to be on a golf team that is motivated to win and can have fun doing it. I am looking for a college golf coach that is objective, can provide structure to my learning, and help fine-tune my golf game to compete at the collegiate level.
As a person, I am honest and ready to admit my faults so that I can better myself. Golf has strengthened my mental abilities, and I am improving the ability to bounce back after a bad stretch. Despite my learning difficulties in school, I have found techniques to focus and stay on target to reach my goals. I really love golf, and if I got the chance to play professionally, I certainly would. Happily, both my parents are supportive in helping me achieve my dream.
