I got hooked on golf and never stopped playing for years now. Along with my experience playing golf, I have volenteered in several junior golf camps along side head pros such as Jesus Gonzalez. Along with my camp experience I have volenteered in my Community Based Activity Program helping students with special needs participate in everyday school and their community. I've competed in the OSAA state championship and countless OGA events. I've won a few and placed placed in many League Tournaments in the greater valley conference along with junior OGA events. These events include Camas Meadows winter series, 3rd place with a 77, 1st place at McNary sanctioned tournament in Kaizer OR with a 76, 3rd place at Michelbook country club in McMinnville OR with a 73. I'm excited to play college golf and have been meeting with pros to learn more as I'm eager to learn and make myself a better golfer to compete. I'm a great candidate for a college team as I have both both a follower and leader. I have been Varsity Captain for 3 straight years. Being a part of a team is incredibly important to me as I want to surround myself with more passionate golfers to learn and to help others learn and eventually become a leader. I am always willing to go extra steps to do what I can to become a better person. I'm different from other recruits because I'm never afraid to stand out and do what I need to do. Every year I've lowered my average strokes by at least 5 strokes per round. I've always challenged myself and will go out of my way to do so. I've taken multiple AP classes and honors courses along with the toughest math I could put myself in. I've also taken Spanish for 5 years now and have never gotten anything but an A each year. I've also overcame adversity by losing 40 pounds to become a better healthier shaped and has helped my golf game.
