My name is David Fuhrer II and I have been playing tournament golf since the age of seven. My dad first got me into the sport by putting a plastic club in my hands at around age three. I would hit balls in my yard with my dad and really started to like golf. My family has a strong history of golf. My uncle Frank was a great amateur player and played on the 1981 Walker Cup Team, he also played in the Masters and on the PGA Tour for a couple of seasons. My grandfather also hosted a professional tournament called the Family House Invitational in the Pittsburgh area. My attitude on and off the golf course is a major contributor to my success. I take the game very seriously and always try my hardest. I believe that you can accomplish all of your goals with hard work and the right mindset. I am someone who shows responsibility on and off the golf course, and have to work for my success in the classroom.
