Nicholas Mata '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nicholas Mata and I am a senior at Donna High School(DHS). I will graduate in 2022 and I am top 20% of my class. I would make a great asset to not only the team but academically as well to any college program. I am a fully commited student to my grades and will be on the very best of my game at all times. 

I started golf at around the age of 8 years old and fell in love with it ever since. I worked tremendously hard through my off seasons and always strive to get better. I can adapt to any course and manage the course to shoot the lowest I can. Last year I was rewarded the achievement of MVP for boys golf at Donna High School. I have recently shot a 79 and had my lowest round of 77 confirmed on rgvgca. I am only going to get better and would love to go pro as well. 

I can assure that I make a great person to have on the team, always willing to be a leader in any situation and love to help people on their game. I always ensure that my grades are superb and on time. Like in golf, I am always laser focused and am always planning my next move.
