Personal Statement

My first round of golf was the summer before my 6th grade year, where I shot a 122 at Northcliffe Country Club. I never played golf competitively until my 8th grade year, as I was focusing on football, basketball, track, and theatre. Going into my 8th grade year, I knew I wanted to try golf. I was a motivated player who shot around 100-110. I got with my swing coaches, David Petry and Andy Rubin, and now currently David Ogrin, and with the help of them, my high school coaches, my parents, and my sports psychologist, I have worked hard to improve my scores, attitude, and outlook on the game of golf. I love to work hard and am eager to play for a college program!
