Garret Cameron '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a strong and dedicated student with a 3.44 GPA.  I am consistently named to the honor roll and have received the Robert Burdett Award for perseverance my freshman, sophomore and junior years.  I also received the Freshman Science Award for earning the highest grade in my class. My teachers praise how I participate in class, contributing to the discussion and asking questions without hesitation. I actively volunteer in my community, while working part-time at the golf course as a Bag Room Attendant. I am trained as a caddie as well.

I pride myself on being a well-rounded person, as well as an athlete, and strive to be a positive teammate.  I play varsity hockey, along with golf, and enjoy skiing, fishing, and mountain biking in my free time. My coaches describe me as a motivated player who is willing to learn and grow.  Vermont has a short golf season, however I'm able to train throughout the year on a TrackMan simulator.  Golf has become my passion and I work hard to constantly improve my game.
