Andrew Hobson '24 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a career in architectural design and/or engineering.  I have wanted to be an architect since as far back as I can remember with a strong head for math and drawing along with wood working and design.  I am an excellent student with good work habits and have always had a good relationship with my teachers and other administrators through out my entire school experience.  

Golf is my passion (although I also love to play basketball).  I began swinging golf clubs at the age of 4 and have spent most of my life on the golf course.  In my free time when I am not attending school or working at our local Country Club I can be found on the course with my friends or spending countless hours practicing my swing.  I have a strong desire to be the best at anything I do.  

Beyond this I believe it is my attitude and easy going personality that have gotten me where I am.  I am always recognized as being "the kid who is most coachable" by all of my coaches regardless of the sport.  I am always eager to learn new skills and then take those skills and practice them until they become habit.  There is no challenge I will not accept.  

I get along with everyone and bring an easy and friendly sense of calm to any situation that I find myself in.  I lead by example and love to set the bar high for myself through my strong mental toughness.   I am a solid and dependable team player on all levels whether it is in the classroom or on the course.  This is what I will can offer your program.
