Dear Coach,
My passion for golf began at age three, and it has been a central part of my life ever since. I approach every aspect of my life with dedication and effort, whether it’s on the golf course, in the classroom, or in my personal growth. As a Christian, I strive to honor God in all that I do.
Beyond golf, I serve with first graders at my church and volunteer to teach young children the fundamentals of the game. I’m also an active member of my school’s Key Club, engaging in various community service projects. Additionally, I work at a local country club as a caddy and bag room attendant, further immersing myself in the golfing community.
Academically, I am a consistent honor roll student, reflecting my strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. As a freshman, I earned a spot on the varsity golf team, an achievement that motivates me to continue improving.
I believe my best golf is still ahead of me, and I am dedicated to becoming the best golfer and person I can be. I am seeking a college that will support my growth both academically and athletically, providing opportunities to develop my skills and character.
To enhance my game, I practice extensively during the summer and maintain weekly lessons with two swing coaches throughout the winter. I also work with a mental coach to strengthen my focus and composure on the course.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your program and growing as a student-athlete.
Sincerely,
Austin Arizola
