Adam Marcoux '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My name is Adam Marcoux.  I've been a goaltender in Calgary, Alberta since age 8.  I played Midget AAA last year with the Calgary Flames & we won the Mac's Midget AAA tournament in Calgary (Going 5-0 2.30GAA/ Save% .910).  In years past, I've attended USHL Dubuque's main camp (2015), Canmore Eagles (AJHL), Red Deer Rebels & Victoria Royals (WHL) summer rookie camps.  

I now play in the BCHL for the Cowichan Capitals as an 18 yr old.  

I train with David Marcoux's School of Goaltending for 10 years.  My father, David coached the NHL Calgary Flames (6 years) & is now the GC for NHL Carolina Hurricanes.  

During the past season (MAAA), I volunteered along with my teammates for the Kids Cancer Society which helped raise awareness & 43K for kids.

I attended the Edge School For Athletes & Calgary for 4 years & finished High school at Bishop Carroll (Cgy).  I also train mentally with Lorie Pulliam (www.optimalathletics.com) 

I would like to pursue a degree in business or in criminology.  

At the end of my hockey career, I would like to take over my father business (www.dmsg.ca) in coaching goalies.  In the summer time, I actually mentor younger goalies during camps.
