Hello Coach,

Since beginning my hockey career in Canada, it has always been my dream to play at a college/university level. My academic success, hockey achievements, work ethic, as well as leadership qualities, would make me an excellent candidate for your team.

Currently I am playing in my second year of Junior Hockey as a Left Defensive player and Left Winger.  This 2023/2024 season, I am playing in the SIJHL league with the Junior "A" Kenora Islanders in Kenora, Canada. Last season, 2022/2023, I played in the USPHL Premier League with the Bakersfield Roughnecks in Bakersfield, CA. As a teammate, I lead by example by displaying a hard work ethic, dedicating my time to focused practices and choosing to be the first on the ice and last off the ice. I feel that I am also very coachable by watching videos and discussing feedback from my coaches regarding game improvement. My volunteer experience includes reading with children in elementary schools, volunteering at community events in Kenora such as the Salvation Army, Snow Angels, and the local food bank.

As a potential candidate for your team, I value my academic achievements as an Honour Roll student in the Alberta Education Curriculum with an 85% twelfth grade average. I am interested in the field of Health Sciences as an undergraduate program with the future aspiration of attending Chiropractic College.
