My name is Cade Anderson, I was born in Colorado and moved to Alberta, Canada when I was three years old. I started skating at four years old and fell in love with the sport.
In my minor Hockey experience in Canada, I have won a Provencal title, as well as several national tournaments with Team Alberta. I have also played in multiple international tournaments, which included winning a World Cup in Bolzano, Italy.
I have completed my third season playing Junior A for the Minnesota Mullets in the USPHL in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This year I have been given the "C" position for my strong work ethic and my ability to work well with all my teammates.
My goal is to play Division 1 Hockey at a school with a great hockey tradition. It is important to me that the school I attend works closely with the community and inspires others to enjoy the sport like I do.
I started my Hockey career as a Defenseman and after seven years, I made the switch to Forward - Left Wing and Center. This allows me to drop back, when needed and help my teammates in any situation. I have found that I thrive on the penalty kill, power play and as a Forward in a high-speed offence. In the past three years of Junior A, I have never missed a game due to injury. I am coachable and look to improve every year. I also work well with all my team mates on and off the ice.
Hockey is a sport that I fell in love with at a young age and look forward to playing Hockey in the NCAA's and hopefully beyond.
Thank you and I look to hearing from you.
