Chris Walgren '22 Recruiting Profile

I am fortunate to be have been recognized as an alternate team captain for (2) consecutive years 2020-21, 2021-22. - AHU Knights AA.  I take this selection as more important than individual awards.  I was selected as team MVP and received all state recognition in 2018.  I have been named on honorable mention lists for All State teams in HS in 2019 & 2020.  I was selected to the All State First Team in 2021-22 AHSHA.  In 2021 I was nominated for the Shane Doan Award for AHSHA as well.  My younger years were spent in Edina, MN playing for some great youth coaches.  In AZ I have been fortunate to be part of the growing hockey movement here.  Although not all the teams in AZ have been competitive,  It has taught me more about perseverance and the importance of great attitude than I would have imagined.  I hope to continue playing where all of these traits are valued.
